THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT:
Support in the preparation of project investments covering infrastructure activities and assessment of potential risks and impacts that will need to be considered during the design phase and during implementation. Assessment and preparation of environmental and social documents for the reconstruction of the M-41 road.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTUAL SERVICES PROVIDED IN THE ASSIGNMENT
-A Stakeholder Engagement Plan (PRSP) has been prepared for the M-41;
-Relevant stakeholder groups have been identified;
-Describes the mechanism for handling complaints within the framework of the project and how to access this mechanism;
-The roles and responsibilities, resource requirements, relevant indicators to be monitored are described;
-A Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) has been prepared.
-The acquisition of land and the consequences, including physical and economic displacement, are determined. Also considering the definition of consequences for livelihoods;
-A census and socio-economic surveys of households affected by the project have been conducted. A list of impacts and losses has been prepared;
-Measures to mitigate the impact on communal natural resources, services/facilities, restrictions on land use, impact on cultural heritage (where applicable) are considered;
-Institutional arrangements with detailed description of roles and responsibilities;
-The approximate distribution of the budget and resource requirements.
-Procedures for human resource management have been prepared.
-The identification of project employees, including preliminary assessments, based on the scope of work, potential risks associated with labor and working conditions, including labor protection, has been carried out;
-Inconsistencies between the provisions of national legislation and ESS2 have been analyzed, as well as measures at the project level to eliminate such gaps;
-A Gender Action Plan has been prepared; A preliminary diagnosis was carried out with an analysis of gender, socio-cultural and religious norms and practices between women and men, gender differences in terms of access to employment;
-Assessment of the risks associated with GBV/SEA/SH, mapping of providers of anti-GBV services in the project area, proposed measures to mitigate any cases of GBV in the project area;
-Public disclosure of information and public consultations are organized.
