PROJECT TITLE: Uzbekistan Dormitories PPP Project

Period: 2024

Project Aim Consultant encompassing expertise in environmental and social studies. Consultant focused on the following:

-Feasibility study including environmental and social studies.

-Preparation of procurement documents including the RFQ, RFP, PPP Agreement and any other agreement relevant to a Project.

DESCRIPTION OF ACTUAL SERVICES PROVIDED IN THE ASSIGNMENT:

-Ensuring that the technical studies (including options analysis) consider E&S matters, standards and EBRD requirements.

-Defining Project associated facilities in line with EBRD PR1.

-Developing a stakeholder engagement framework plan (SEP) framework (SEF) in line with EBRD Performance Requirement 10 for the Project.

-Carrying out a preliminary ESIA/ E&S Assessment compliant with EBRD PRs and EU environmental directives, commensurate with the potential impacts and adequate to the level of technical information available. Propose mitigation measures where applicable and specific E&S standards that need to be achieved by detailed design in the future.

-Developing a stakeholder engagement plan (SEP) in line with EBRD Performance Requirement 10 for the Project.

-Developing a Resettlement Framework or Plan depending on the design stage of the project, if applicable.

-Developing of an Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP) including the E&S requirements to be incorporated into tender documentation.

-Summarise all findings in an Environmental and Social Report
