PROJECT GOAL: collection and analysis of information on increasing energy tariffs in May 2024 in Uzbekistan
THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY WERE:
-Assess public perception and reaction to tariff increases.
-Identify the main concerns and expectations of the population.
-Receive detailed opinions and suggestions from vulnerable segments of the population living in cities and villages of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
-Assess how tariff changes affect vulnerable populations.
-Collect proposals for support and adaptation measures to minimize negative impacts.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES ACTUALLY PROVIDED IN THE PROJECT
-A team of specialists analyzed the media field and consumer reviews. Sentiment analysis and thematic analysis, identifying negative and positive consumer reactions associated with tariff increases.
-In-depth interviews were conducted. As part of the project, the team used qualitative research methods. In order to obtain a multifaceted understanding of the issue, various segments of the population are covered.
-Focus group discussions were held with vulnerable categories of the population (pensioners, low-income families, people with disabilities).
THE FOLLOWING RESULTS WERE OBTAINED:
-collected key quotes and statements (preparing screenshots). Quantitative data on the frequency and tone of mentions is provided.
-Provided qualitative findings on the most affected aspects of the tariff increase. The customer received proposals for their optimization.
-The results of the discussions provided in-depth understanding of the reasons and consequences of tariff changes.
-Provides practical suggestions from stakeholders to improve energy policies.
-An assessment of the social impact of tariff increases on the most vulnerable groups was carried out.
-Experts provided recommendations on social support and compensation measures.
The research methods used will provide a comprehensive and multifaceted analysis of the impact of increasing energy tariffs, and will also allow us to develop effective solutions to minimize the negative consequences for the population.
