PROJECT AIM:

Collection of traffic flow data and transport information in order to describe and analyze traffic characteristics, establish an adequately reliable traffic forecast for the project and estimate the possible economic savings in time and distance due to the project road.

DESCRIPTION OF ACTUAL SERVICES PROVIDED IN THE ASSIGNMENT:

Survey was conducted in the form of a computer-assisted telephone interview (3000 CATI respondents). Such data include:

• the volume of traffic flows on the existing road by vehicle type;
• the origin and destination (O&D) of passenger and commodity flow;
• willingness to pay
